Part One - Court of Metaphysics
In which "myself," our narrator, whose sister has a mysterious, serious ailment, is invited to spend about one month at the remote estate belonging to the eccentric Count Percival, a retired member of the House of Lords, and his family. Myself has barely arrived when a trespasser is captured, which sets into motion the wheels of bizarre justice.

Part Two - Queen of Ice
In which it is further revealed that, many years ago, something bad happened to Camelot. Three Percival brothers wouldn't want to let go of their younger sister, so they decided to freeze her down on the property in the hope that one day she might be revived and cured. The poor peasants living on property were held to account, and have been paying the price ever since.
